The uncompromising execution standard at Aquanav is set directly by our leadership. Aquanav is led by Deepak Sasikumar, a certified Marine Chief Engineer and an alumnus of Harvard Business School. With over two decades of front-line experience in fleet management, technical innovation and marine operations, Deepak brings a unique perspective to marine engineering – understanding both the technical realities of the engine room and the financial realities of the boardroom.

Throughout his career, he has successfully spearheaded numerous high-stakes operations across the globe. His track record includes overseeing multiple critical dry dockings for bulk carriers, LPG and MR, Aframax, and Suezmax tankers, executing major vessel conversions and managing complex PMS migrations.

Aquanav’s leadership team of marine engineers with proven ability to engineer cost-saving, high-efficiency deployment solutions forms the operational DNA of Aquanav. Fleet managers trust our elite riding squads because our leadership has successfully navigated those exact same operational pressures and off-hire risks over the years.

Methodology

How We Execute.

A rigorous, three-phase operational framework designed to eliminate bottlenecks, minimize off-hire time, and guarantee Class compliance across every intervention.

Phase 1: Diagnostic & Drydock Planning

Before mobilization, our engineering leadership conducts a comprehensive technical audit. We define the exact operational scope, material logistics and Class/Regulatory requirements to guarantee zero execution delays.

Phase 2: Proprietary Deployment

We deploy specialized engineers and IRATA-certified rope access squads tailored to the mandate. Using agile methodologies, including our proprietary Vertomech rigging and dynamic rope-access—we execute complex interventions rapidly while maintaining a zero-incident safety record.

Phase 3: Verification & Handover

Execution is only complete when commercial value is secured. Every project concludes with stringent, documented validation to ensure 100% CAP Approval Certification (DNV, IRS, ABS), clearing your asset immediately for premium charter.
